Our lineage connects directly to one of the most respected names in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Jean Jacques Machado. Tracing our instruction through Christian Derr and Matt Vernon, Nicholas Allen Reeves is proud to carry forward this prestigious tradition. We honor this heritage by upholding a high standard of technical skill and respect on and off the mat.
Nicholas is a brown belt under Matt Vernon with 8 years of intense training and competition experience. He has competed in some of the most prestigious Jiu Jitsu tournaments, including ADCC Trials, IBJJF Worlds, and Pans, and remains an active competitor. His teaching philosophy emphasizes technical mastery and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment. Nicholas is passionate about passing on the skills and respect of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to his students.
